JAPANESE FOLKTALE

It is variously in the story (oral legend) that people have handed down by word of mouth since old times.
Legend that starts by "Somewhere in old times of old times". Legend that regard on mountain, pond, temple, and the ancient guardian deity of the village (JIZO) etc. Small talk in village and town in old times. They are called a folktale (MINWA) in one bundle.
When you hear talking the folk tale, you will be able to feel "people's pleasure and sadness","Power to live", "Appearance of life" and "Beauty of the story" etc. into consideration that is not only interest of the story. Will you look for the narrator with us?

KASAJIZO

It is a story to which the grandpa who was not able to sell the KASA (umbrella) covered JIZO (the ancient guardian deity of the village) with the umbrella on the snow day, and JIZO delivered the treasure to the grandpa on that night.
